These conditions of participation govern participation in the competition organised by

Period of participation

Participation is possible from 01 September to 31 October 2024. KENT reserves the right to change this period if important reasons so require. KENT will communicate a notice about this in the same way as the competition itself.

What can you win?

After completing the competition form and correctly answering the question on the form, all commercial participants will be entered into a prize draw to win a total of 200 discount vouchers from KENT, namely: 200 x 1 discount voucher worth 20% up to an order value of €400 / GBP for KENT products.

Who can take part?

Eligible to participate are commercial persons aged 18 and over. Each commercial organisation / person is only allowed to participate once. Employees of KENT and their relatives are excluded from participating in the competition.

How can you take part?

A participant takes part in the competition by filling in the competition form during the competition period with the correct answer to the following question: “How many categories does the KENT product portfolio include?”. New customers will also be informed to register in the webshop in this context, as the verification of a registered business is guaranteed here. Commercial customers who are already registered in the customer base do not need to register in the webshop.

Participants must at least provide their e-mail address and, with the exception of customers already registered in the customer base, register in the online shop at shop.kenteurope.com so that we can notify them if they win and guarantee their commercial identity. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties[mg1].

What do you need to know?

We will send a discount voucher for the purchase of KENT products to all participants who have provided the correct answer in the competition form. The winner will only be notified by e-mail. Winnings cannot be paid out in cash or exchanged.

Each participant can only win one discount voucher. Multiple participants will be excluded from the game. Providing false data or unlawful use of the competition may lead to exclusion from the competition. In this case, the participant will not be notified. The correct answer is decisive. The decision on the winners of the prizes is the sole responsibility of KENT Europe GmbH and is final. Legal recourse is excluded. If a prize cannot be handed over, it will not be resent. The original winner has no right to claim the prize after unsuccessful notification and/or delivery of the prize.

There are no costs for the participant for taking part in the competition – apart from the individual costs for the participant’s internet connection. Participation in the competition is independent of a purchase of goods from KENT. The winners of the discount vouchers will receive the prize by e-mail attachment, which will be commissioned by KENT. The prize will only be delivered within an e-mail communication process.

Premature termination, exclusion

KENT has the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice. KENT will exercise this right if, for example, significant malfunctions, significant disruptions, forgeries, viruses or similar significant damage occur that impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or running of the competition and after 200 prize participants have been entered.

KENT reserves the right to exclude participants who violate these conditions of participation from participation. This applies in particular if participants use manipulation or dishonest means or provide false personal details. In such cases, prizes may also be subsequently cancelled and reclaimed.

Data protection

Data entry is voluntary, but necessary for participation in the competition (consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1d GDPR). Users are given the opportunity to participate in the competition in return for providing their contact details.

The subscription to a KENT newsletter associated with the competition can be cancelled at any time. Data not required for participation is labelled accordingly. Personal data will be used for notifications as part of the competition and for marketing newsletters from KENT.

We guarantee that personal data will not be passed on to third parties. An exception to this is the shipping service provider that delivers the products ordered from KENT and requires the contact and address data of the winner for this purpose in the case of an order for KENT products. You can request information, changes or the deletion of your personal data at any time in accordance with the legal basis.

Liability

There is no entitlement to participate in the online competition. In particular, technical failures or errors may result in the KENT website and thus possibly also the web forms required for participation in the competition being unavailable.

Complaints relating to the implementation of the competition must be submitted in writing to the organiser within 14 days of the reason becoming known, stating the competition. Complaints made by telephone or late complaints will not be processed. Enquiries, complaints and claims relating to the prizes must be made exclusively to the respective prize sponsor.

Validity of these terms and conditions

Whenever you take part in the competition, the terms and conditions available at that time apply. Therefore, please check the conditions of participation on the KENT website before participating. Should individual provisions of these conditions of participation be or become invalid or incomplete, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions.
