Application
Abraprep is a one-step water-based abrasive cleaning and preparation system for preparing panels for painting, blending in new paintwork when carrying out local repairs and preparing for clear coat.
It is suitable for use on all modern advanced refinish paint finishes including water based, high solids (HS), medium solids (MS) and OEM finishes.
Plastic Prep: Ideal for cleaning and abrading plastic bumpers and rubber parts prior to painting.
Manuals
- Shake well before use.
- Wash away any large dirt particles that can cause scratches from the surface.
- Dampen the nylon hand pad with clean water.
- Wring out excess water.
- Apply Abraprep either to the hand pad or directly to the panel (approx. 10 gms per average sized panel).
- Using medium to firm pressure, abrade the surface using even pad strokes in a criss-cross pattern until the panel is thoroughly cleaned and the desired matt finish is achieved.
- Remove any residue with KENT Finishing Cloths.
- Wipe the abraded surface with a damp cloth to remove any residue.
- Follow regular painting process.
