DPF Cleaner Foam

A cleaning agent for diesel particulate filters.

Description

Loosens carbon and ash deposits –aids diesel particulate filter regeneration
Cleans without disassembling the DPF –easy application, saves time and money
Outstanding foaming action –long penetration deep into the porous ceramic honeycomb body of the filter, high dissolving and cleaning power
Convenient aerosol application –economical use, only one can is required per diesel particulate filter
Use on all common diesel particle filter systems –universally applicable
Reduces particulate matter emission –less environmental impact

Application

KENT DPF Cleaner Foam regenerates heavily soot contaminated diesel particulate filters and recovers the filter capacity to avoid loss of power or other problems because of a clogged DPF, caused by short distance driving.
In addition, it can be used as a cure at the first sign of a problem with the diesel particulate filter regeneration cycle. This is usually indicated by the illumination of a warning light.
The product will prevent the eventual serious fouling of the diesel particulate filter, which will result in expensive replacement and possible consequences in other parts of the combustion system – for example the turbo charger. KENT DPF Cleaner Foam will improve the efficiency of the vehicle.
Because of its easy application KENT DPF Cleaner Foam offers a quicker and in particular cheaper alternative to disassembling and cleaning a heavily soot contaminated diesel particulate filter at specialized external cleaning companies.
N.B.: Accompanying to the DPF cleaner Foam, KENT is offering the DPF Cleaner (P/N 86162) as an fuel additive to promote the diesel particulate filter regeneration.

Manuals

1. Allow the engine to cool down before using the product. The engine has to be cold and the DPF temperature below 40°C.
2. Disassemble the temperature or pressure sensor at the upper site of the diesel particle filter.
3. Shake the can before use and insert the extension nozzle in the opening with the spraying direction towards the filter.
4. Spray the product into the filter, in 3 to 5 sprays, with an interval of 5 minutes between each spray. Use the whole can.
5. Allow the product to soak for at least 30 minutes.
6. Reassemble the temperature or pressure sensor.
7. Start the engine and let it run idle. Dirty water contaminated with soot and ash will drip out of the exhaust pipe.
8. Allow the engine to run idle until the dripping stops.
9. Start the regeneration by performing a test drive for around 20 to 30 minutes at higher speed (approx. 60 mph or 100 km/h).
N.B.: If necessary, read the failure code and clear all codes.
