Application
KENT Japanese Orange Flat Paper is a highly versatile, ultra-thin masking tape for demanding applications and delicate surfaces. Whether for painting, detailing or other resotration work, this UV resistant tape can be applied to a wide variety of surfaces and is exceptionally clean to remove.
It is particularly useful where sharp edges are required. Even intricate multi-layer designs (several layers of paint) can be achieved with ease. It resists different types of paint without dissolving or sagging and is compatible with both water-based and solvent-based paints.
Instructions
- The surface must be clean and free from dust and grease.
- Apply the tape carefully along the contours.
- Apply pressure to the surface of the tape on bends and corners to ensure the tape remains flat.
- Mask the remaining area.
- Paint the vehicle.
- Once the paint is dry, remove all masking material.
- Once the tape is removed, check the edges and polish if necessary.
