Application
To protect and restore polycarbonate plastics from yellowing after the removal of engravings or deep scratches. Ideal for vehicles headlights, marine and camper components.
Instructions
1. Completely remove the old film.
2. Remove any scratches dry sanding with a cycle starting with grit P240, then P400 and finally P600.
3. Complete sanding with 1S-MF sponges.
4. Carefully degrease with a water based cleaner.
5. Mix the product according to the following ratios:
LIGHT CLEAR COAT: 2 parts in volume
LIGHT CLEAR COAT HARDENER: 1 part in volume
UV PROTECTOR: 1 part in volume
6. Carefully mix and filter with 5000 mesh.
7. Pot life: 90 minutes @ 20°C
8. Apply using paint/clear coat guns with 1.0 – 1.3 nozzle at 2.5 bar.
9. Spray 2 layers, waiting 30 seconds between layers.
Thickness: 25 – 40 microns.
Drying: 30 minutes at 60°C or 10–15 minutes with short I.R.
10. Use KENT Carbon Block to remove any possible defects and then polish with KENT Ceramic Abrasive Polish with a medium hardness pad.
