Application
Used for wrapping electrical cables in automotive application when noise reduction properties are required. Linen Tape is designed for applications which require a good temperature resistance, class T2 (100°C).Linen Tape is extremely well suited to preventing the cabling from tearing on sharp parts often found in areas where the wires are placed.Linen Tape also prevents from squeaks and rattles originated by friction between plastic parts, e.g. door panels, dashboard panels, etc. The adhesive backing provides excellent adhesion on clear coated paint, plastics, foam, glass aluminium, steel, fibreglass, SMC, rubber, cloth vinyl and many other substrates.
Instructions
1. Clean the surface to be sealed of all contaminants such as old sealers / adhesives, oil / grease with a suitable cleaner such as KENT Acrysol.2. Apply Linen Tape and press firmly into place.The product must be protected from dust, heat, moisture, direct sunlight and solvent fumes. The storage temperature should be between +10ºC and +30ºC.
