Application
New Self Guide is an advanced primer filler that offers high build, easy sanding and extremely fast drying. It is recommended for both large surfaces and touch-ups.
Apply the primer filler directly to bare, sanded and degreased metal, e-coats, plastics, galvanised steel etc. Can be painted over with any type of finishing clearcoat.
Instructions
- Before applying New Self Guide, the surface must be completely free of grease.
- Carefully sand the area with P240/P320 grit paper.
- Mix New Self Guide with the desired hardener in a ratio of 4:1 (volume %), thinner is not necessary.
- Apply 2-3 cross coats with 5 minutes between each coat.
- After application, wait for 10-15 minutes before IR or oven drying.
- Drying times: 20 °C (68 °F) = 2-3 h, 60 °C (140 °F) = 10 min, IR = 10-15 min
- After drying, start sanding with P400-P500 grit paper.
