Application
Plaz Tex Clear 2 is the ideal solution for re-texturing plastics after repair. It can be used for common cosmetic repairs, such as holes in dashboards, centre consoles, plastic door panels and fascia trim.
Typical applications include existing plastic repair, bodyshops, SMART repair specialists, used vehicle preparation sites and fleet repair specialists.
Manuals
- Key area to be re-textured with light abrasive or nylon finishing pads.
- Degrease the surface with a suitable cleaner, such as Plastic Prep or Acrysol, and allow to dry.
- Mask off the area to be re-textured.
- Shake well before use.
- Spray light coats from a distance of 20 – 30 cm in short, sweeping bursts.
- Allow a minimum of 5 minutes flash-off between coats.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the desired finish is achieved.
- It will be necessary to feather (blend) in the edge of the re-textured area to match the natural texture of the bumper.
- After use, invert the can and spray for a few seconds to clean the nozzle.
