Application
Rust Convertor is a surface treatment and primer for rusted surfaces. Due to its reactivity with rust and iron, it converts rust into a stable primer coat that can be coated with most paints. Its great temperature resistance allows application on hot surfaces of up to 180 °C.
For industrial applications such as machinery, agricultural machinery, tank construction, steel structures and automotive maintenance and repair.
Instructions
- Remove any loose rust, dirt, grease, oil and salt residues.
- Shake well before use.
- Spray 2 – 3 thin layers without flash-off time. Keep a distance of 20 – 30 cm from the surface.
- Allow to convert and dry.
- Sand to improve adhesion of the next layer, preferably an
anti-corrosive primer.
