Application
Super Bond Flex is a fast-curing rubber-toughened cyanoacrylate adhesive.It has been formulated to give a strong flexible repair on materials such as leather, rubber or any material that will be slightly bended or twisted.The flexibility also allows a good impact strength, which is ideal for repairs subject to vibrations and shocks, e.g. on or nearby running machines, engines and pumps.The high viscosity of Super Bond Flex also allows a minimised dripping on vertical surfaces and larger gap filling, for the repair of small cracks and holes.Apply Super Bond Activset to cure the exposed adhesive.Super Bond Flex doesn’t bloom or smell and is therefore well suited for cosmetic applications or where ventilation is limited.
Manuals
1. For best results, surfaces to be bonded must be clean, free from dirt, waxes, oils, etc. using KENT Acrysol or Soft Surface Cleaner.2. Protect your hands using gloves, to avoid fingers to stick together.
3. Apply KENT Super Bond Flex sparingly to one surface only.4. Bring the surfaces together immediately, taking care to ensure the correct alignment.5. Apply firm pressure to ensure that the adhesive spreads into a thin film.
6. Do not disturb or re-align until the curing is achieved (normally in a few seconds).7. Close cap after use, ensuring it is correctly secured, and wipe the tip clean.
