Application
Toughcoat 2 is a product for today’s bodyshop looking to re-create current OEM finishes for under body and anti-gravel protection. Toughcoat 2 is based on synthetic resins and rubbers. The coating is quick-drying and especially developed for long-term gravel protection.Toughcoat 2 is very thixothropic and can be applied without dripping. The product is touch dry in approximately 20 minutes and can be over painted with all commonly used automotive paint systems after it has completely hardened. Toughcoat 2 can be dried in the air or in an oven. After application the result is a closed, elastic and structured film with excellent rust and gravel protection.
Instructions
1. Shake can well before use, ensure surface is clean, rust-free and dry.2. Using Kent Syphon Gun (GSH) apply an even coating, recommended thickness = approx 1mm. Adjust nozzle to achieve required finish.3. Allow to completely harden before over painting (approx. 2 hours).4. If required remove product with Acrysol (ABS). Always clean gun with solvent after use
