Application
Ultra Fibre is manufactured under vacuum to give an ultra smooth surface finish. It is made from a soft resin which makes it easy to sand and offers good flexibility. It is ideal for use in visible areas such as bonnets and roofs.
Ultra Fibre can be used for filling holes and imperfections on the following surfaces:
- Steel: Degrease and abrade with P120.
- Aluminum: Degrease and abrade with P150 – P180.
- Original paint surfaces: Degrease and abrade back to bare metal with P150.
Manuals
- The substrate must be de-rusted, degreased, dry, dust-free and matted.
- Remove all previous coats, both uncured lacquers and thermoplastic acrylic.
- Mix the putty and 2 – 3 % (by weight) hardener thoroughly to a homogeneous colour.
- The mixture has a pot life of approx. 3 – 5 minutes at 20 °C.
- The putty can be sanded approx. 15 – 30 minutes after application (hand/machine dry sanding with P120 – P320).
The hardening process is accelerated by heat and retarded by cold. Use below 10 °C is not recommended.
