Application
Ultrafill 3 has been specially formulated to provide excellent adhesion to PP composites and most other rigid plastics, whilst retaining full compatibility with the latest generation of water-based refinish paints. The acidic nature of the product ensures excellent adhesion to metal surfaces due to an acid etching action.
Ultrafill 3 is particularly suitable for difficult to bond plastic surfaces, such as PP, where the adhesion of conventional aerosol primers is compromised.
Manuals
- Prepare the surface using sanding techniques and panel wipe. Ensure the surface is completely free from grease and dust.
- Shake can thoroughly before use.
- Hold upright and apply multiple light coats from a distance of 15 – 20 cm.
- Allow to dry for approx. 5 – 10 minutes between each coat.
- After use, turn can upside down and spray to clean the valve.
- Post-treatment, including abrading or sanding, can be carried out as little as 20 minutes after the final coat has been applied, depending on ambient temperature, humidity and coat depth.
